Hi! I’m Mia Hutter, an industrial designer driven by curiosity and a love for gaining new experiences that inform thoughtful, tactile solutions.

My path to design began with a recommendation from my AP Art teacher to explore the DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati.
I initially entered UC as an Exploratory major to weigh my options; at the time, I was balancing my academic future with a lifelong commitment to figure skating during a period of global uncertainty. However, that year of exploration only confirmed my drive to pursue Industrial Design.
I transitioned into the program with a clear focus, eventually pairing my studio work with a Marketing minor. This combination allows me to bridge the gap between human-centered aesthetics and the business strategy required for successful product development.
